Richard Dudley Craig
Richard has been in the wine and food business for over 20 years. Having cooked in Michelin starred restaurants for 5 years, his love for all things vinous took him to a number of sommelier positions. Moving on to get close up and personal with our vitis vinifera, steel tanks, barriques, pumps, presses and bottling line friends to work vintages in Australia, California and France. Private sales and retail lead him to enrol on to The Master of Wine course, a few journalistic expeditions and wine judging. Richard has travelled often and widely through the grape ecosystem, Provence being a particularly regular haunt and culminated in the setting up of Dudley & de Fleury Wines which brings together his travels, friends and business partners with stunning wines and great food.
Richard de Fleury
Richard returned to Europe in 2008 after years working in the New Zealand wine industry, including a stint studying oenology at Hawke’s Bay’s Eastern Institute of Technology. Since returning he has developed an evangelical passion for the wines of small, artisan wine-makers for whom quality and individuality are second nature.
